Rabbi of Niametz for close to fifty years before settling in Jerusalem in the last year of his life. Exceptionally devout, he was a chossid of R. Dovid Moshe Friedman of Chortkov and R. Yitzchak Friedman of Bohush. An expert in the Halachic matter of Agunoth, he wrote the responsa Be’er Mordechai.
