Discusses the Pushke collections for the Va’ad HaYeshivoth, a committee for which had been established in Pinsk. Postcard with autograph address, punch-holes.

A close disciple of the Netziv and member of the Kollel Perushim in Kovno, R. Aharon Walkin was a prolific author of over ten volumes of responsa (Zekan Aharon), novellae (Beth Aharon) and sermons (Metzach Aharon). R. Yosef Shub (1897-1942) was R. Chaim Ozer Grodzenski’s right-hand man and director of the Va’ad HaYeshivoth, a Vilna-based umbrella organization that raised funds for the Lithuanian yeshivos. See E.
