(Rosh Mesivta Ohel Torah-Baranovich, 1890-1941). Autograph Postcard Signed and stamped, written in Hebrew to the librarian of Yeshivath Kenesseth Yisroel (Chevron) in Jerusalem.

Noting that he is sending three copies of his recently published work Mikdash Dovid (Volume III), one for the Yeshiva, one for R. Isser Zalman Meltzer and one for R. Shlomo Goloventzitz. He is currently working on Volume IV which will focus on Zeraim, subject-matter pertaining to Eretz Israel. Autograph address on verso. Punch-holes affecting a few letters.

A brilliant Talmid Chochom, he led Yeshivas Baranovitch alongside Rabbi Elchonon Wasserman. With the outbreak of World War II the yeshiva escaped Poland for Vilna, however R. Rappoport was arrested by the Soviet Communists and sentenced to force labor in a concentration camp near the Russian-Finnish border. Refusing to eat non-kosher food he died from starvation.
