A Renaissance humanist work on the poetry of Ovid. The author, Giacomo Constanzi (or, Jacobus Constantinus, c. 1473-1517), a native of Fano, was Professor of Latin and Greek at Ferrara. Famed as a publisher of Biblical and rabbinic books in Hebrew, Soncino also issued works of Christian theology, Humanism and general Italian literature.
