In a series of some ten vignette illustrations, the story of OZET’s creation is here told: The economic shortcomings of Jewish life before the rise of the Soviet Union alongside the sufferings of Jews in pogroms. The Soviet leadership then discusses how to alleviate the Jews suffering, and settles on a policy of resettlement into agricultural communes. Although the beginning is difficult, the resettled Jews proudly display their model kolkhoz to the Russian people. Another version of this Jewish-themed poster, with text in Yiddish, was sold in Kestenbaum Sale 70, lot 3.
