Machzor. According to Italian (Roman) rite.

With Selichoth and Piyutim (supplementary penitential prayers and poems) for the Ten Days of Repentance (Asereth Yemei Teshuvah). Hebrew manuscript written on vellum in a semi-cursive Italian hand, vocalized and with instructions. With two colophons on f. 80v and f. 112r. Bound in modern Beardsleyesque-style binding, cream morocco elaborately blind-tooled and housed in coordinating solander-box. ff. (116). Variously stained in places, marginal repairs to several leaves. Sm. folio.

The manuscript commences with the confession (Al-Chet) prayer, followed by: The Cantor’s repetition of for the Shacharith morning prayer (chazarath hashatz), the Torah reading and Haptorah, Musaf, Mincha, with its Torah reading and Haphtorah, Ne’ilah and then followed by many Piyutim and Selichoth for Yom Kippur and for Asereth Yemei Teshuva. The piyutim, ordered according to the Roman rite, vary from the more common arrangements of such texts and as ordered in the description by Shadal in his "Mavo L’Machzor K`Minhag Bnei Rome" (Livorno, 1857).
