Detailed information concerning the prevailing conditions in Palestine, to which, it is estimated “as many as 500,000 (Jews) may wish to, or be impelled to, emigrate from Europe” (p. 15). Also provides a survey of Europe - a country by country account of the circumstances under which the survivors of the Holocaust found themselves. Ultimately, the Anglo-American Committee of Enquiry denied the “right to return” claimed by the Jews (p. 7).
