<<Granting Jews full equality in the realm of political and social rights.>> “The National Assembly has decreed… that all men adhering to the duties of the Constitution are given the advantages that it assures, revokes all delays, reserves and exceptions applying to individual Jews.” The grant of full equality of rights finally opened the modern world to Jews, welcoming their participation, and encouraging, what was to become, their remarkable contribution to broader society.
