Only a portion of title from first vol. present, title of second vol. with marginal loss, many leaves of both volumes remargined with occasional loss, stained. Second vol. slightly shorter. Uniform morocco. Housed in custom slip-case. Folio.

One of the two books printed by the illustrious Isaac Prostitz in his hometown of Prostejov. The other 261 books he issued were all printed in Cracow. Prostejov, in the province of Moravia (today the Czech Republic), was home at various times to such notables as the Mahara’m A’sh, R. Yonassan Eybeschuetz, the Chasam Sofer and the bibliographer, Moritz Steinschneider.
