The Holy Land divided between the kingdoms of Judea and Israel. Divided into six provinces and twelve tribes. Engraved by Georgius Widman, newly delineated by Giacomo Cantelli, based on the map by Guillaume Sanson. In the upper left hand corner is a map by Cantelli and edited by G. G. Rossi, entitled: “Old Syria” which depicts the entire Lenat divided into: Palestina, Phoenicia, Antiochene, Coelesyria. Lower right features an attractive title cartouche depicting Adam and Eve flanking the snake in the Garden of Eden.
