A series of scholarly studies concerning the women of the Bible, from the famous to the obscure. Bears the encomium of W. Bacher, as well as the rabbinic approbations of Abraham Danon of Constantinople and Ben Zion Cuenque of Jerusalem (editor of HaMe’assef). The Latvian born author served as rabbi in Bulgaria for close to half a century, until his death in 1936.
