Nata Halevi Lipschitz. Arichath Yamim: The Way of Life and Happiness for Parents and Children.

One of the last Jewish books published in Lithuania. The year of this book’s publication, the Soviet Union occupied the city of Kovno and overnight, obliterated Jewish cultural and religious activities. A year later the Germans entered the city and alongside Lithuanian Fascists, focused upon the murder of the entire Jewish population. Four years later, when the war ended, 95% of the Jews of Kovno were dead. The author of this work was the son of R. Ya’akov Lipschitz, right hand of R. Isaac Elchanan Spector of Kovno.
