Concerning a drop of milk that accidentally fell onto a piece of meat, as discussed in Talmud Tractate Chullin f. 108. The opening page states this novellae was composed when the topic was studied in the Yeshiva at the beginning of the summer session of 1870. The eldest son of the Chasam Sofer, the Kethav Sofer succeeded his father as Rabbi and Rosh Yeshivah of Pressburg in 1840.
