Hashoshanah [journal of historical articles, poetry, etc.]

The first issue of an apparently unpublished weekly journal “to benefit our holy forsaken language.” All the articles are signed by writers using pseudonyms such as Avaer, Rava and Arbael. The opening ten numbered pages constitute this first issue as described in the table of contents on p. 1. The following pages are articles and poetry entitled Beth HaMishteh copied from the journal Bikurim, edited by Naphtali Keller (Vienna, 1864).
