Based on the principles of the Chassidei Aschkenaz, a hand-book of atonements for specific sins, with prayers of admission of guilt for the penitent. The printer, Shlomo Yarish Rappaport was responsible for the first appearance of the celebrated Noam Elimelech in 1788. It has been suggested that one of his typesetters was one of the celebrated 36 hidden Tzadikim.
