Vinograd lists only four books published in this small town in the Masovian Province of Eastern Poland. A prolific author of many outstanding works, the author states that he is publishing this work first as it will bring the fear of G-d to those who read it. An ethical classic that has been republished many times to this very day. True to its name, the ‘Rod’ of Musar, the author does not shy away from graphic descriptions of the punishments waiting for one who fails to repent before the Day of Judgment.
