First edition of a popular Hebrew grammar, dedicated to the Venetian Jew Paolo Paradisi. Cinqarbres (1514-1587) was considered one of the foremost linguists of the 16th century and occupied the chair of Hebrew and Syriac at the Collège de France until his death.
