Both Fuks and Vinograd incorrectly record 12 leaves for this work. The present copy has 14 leaves as properly described by Roest (p. 200) and Friedberg (Daled 1232). The author hailed from Cracow and maintains in the introduction that whomsoever recites these two prayers together is ensured a place in the World to Come. By Hallel HaGadol he means the refrain “Hodu… ki leolam chasdo” to which his commentary appears on the final two leaves.
