Joseph Isaac Schneerson, guiding R. Sholom Rivkin in his studies and how to be an effective public speaker. * Letter from R. Shemaryahu Gurary dated 1949 concerning his negotiations with the Israeli government in placing 100 Chabad refugee families in a farming settlement in the Arab village Sifriya (later to become Kfar Chabad). * Letters from the crucial interim period (1950) before the appointment of a new Rebbe, some on the stationery of Nechama Dina Schneerson and other general letters in Hebrew, Yiddish and English issued together or separately by R. Menachem Mendel Schneerson and R. Shemaryahu Gurary. * Significant mimeographed letter dated 27th Shevat 1950 to R.
