An expanded edition of Reuchlin’s Latin translation of the Meir Nethiv by R. Isaac Nathan b. Kalonymus of Arles. Mario de Calasio (1550-1620), an Italian Friar, devoted himself to Oriental languages and became an authority on Hebrew. He labored on this work for forty years. Aside from providing here the exact Latin translation of each Hebrew word, de Calasio also presents any existing differences from the Vulgate or Septuagint readings.
