Handsome record-book of a membership association formed to further the study of the Mishnah. Originally founded in 1923 on Dumont Street near Howard Avenue in Brownsville, Brooklyn, the Rabbi of this Home for the Aged was Rabbi David Rolf. This large record book commences with by-laws of the study-group, followed by an oath to be taken by members affirming that a chapter of the Mishnah will be studied daily, no later than 9am. Thereafter, includes regulations concerning meetings and dues. The bulk of the volume are lists of over six hundred names of men and women, recording their date of death.
