Original uncensored edition. The second edition of this work (2010) was censored, expunging the approbation of R. Baruch Rabinowitz, son-in-law of the Minchas Elazar and Grand Rabbi of Munkatch up to the War. R. Baruch was able to escape to Eretz Israel from Hungary but due to his affiliation there with the Mizrachi Movement, he effectively resigned as Munkatcher Rebbe in 1946 and subsequently emigrated to Brazil, whereupon his son R. Moshe Leib was appointed Rebbe in his place. Since then, R. Baruch’s name has systematically been eradicated from reprints of books printed in Munkatch, due to his deviation from anti-Zionist ideology. He died in 1997. It is said that the son did not attend his father’s funera.
