"The Solomon Lot 70 is Covenant's premier Cabernet. Only six magnums of this vintage were produced, none of which are available commercially. The wine is made from Covenant co-owner Leslie Rudd's grapes from the Oakville Vineyard, a high-altitude vineyard on Mt. Veeder. The wine is named ""Solomon"" to reflect Leslie's Hebrew name, ""Shlomo."" The designation ""Lot 70"" refers to, in the words of the vintner, ""a small miracle"" that occurred in relation to creating the first vintage.
