German text interspersed with Hebrew. 27 (of 28?) engraved plates of ceremonies and customs of 18th-century German-Jewish society. Title in red and black, additional engraved frontispiece pp. (16), 226, (26). Browned and lightly waterstained, lacking pl. 16, few plates bound out of sequence. Needs rebinding. 4to Rubens, Jewish Iconography nos. 539-67

Est: $1,500 - $2,500
It is possible that our copy is not wanting a plate at all, but is complete as issued by the printer. According to the additional leaf pasted in by Peter Konrad Monath (preceding p.1), our copy contains "Sieben und Zwanzig Kupfern."
