Edict forcing the Jews of Ferrara to wear in public a yellow badge on their outer garments in order to identify them as Jews. The Edict notes that this marked Jewish attire was already the practice in Rome and the Venetian State. There is also mention of the yellow "tuba" or "fettuccia" (two words for "top hat") that the Italian Jew was forced to don
