Following the turn toward isolationism in America and the Red Scare of 1919-21, a wave of anti-Semitism bore serious consequences for American Jewry. This nativist nationalism had a vigorous proponent in Ford, who launched his own personal anti-Semitic propaganda campaign which was without precedent in corporate America
