According to the biography by the Cantor's son, Rosenblatt's unswerving financial commitment to the publication resulted in personal bankruptcy. See S. Dos Yiddishe Licht, contains a vast range of news items relating to Orthodox Jewish life in the 1920's, particularly in relation to the United States.
