A publication initiated and financed by Cantor Yossele Rosenblatt. According to the biography by the Cantor's son, Rosenblatt's unswerving financial commitment to the publication resulted in personal bankruptcy. See S. Dos Yiddishe Licht, contains a vast range of news items relating to Orthodox Jewish life in the 1920's, particularly in relation to the United States.
