SPANISH). Seder Selichoth… U’Tephiloth Rosh Hashanah VeKippur / Orden de Selihoth y Oraciones de Roshasanah y Kipur [Penitential Prayers, and Prayers for the New Year and Day of Atonement].

Title in Hebrew and Spanish. Title within typographic border. Entirely in Spanish but for the Hebrew notes relating to the blowing of the Shophar. ff. 272 (i. e., 282). Few leaves misbound, lacks ff. 36-7. Wormed affecting text, ff. 83, 99, 180 and 186 partially torn, lightly browned and stained. Contemporary diced morocco, gilt extra, marbled endpapers, hinges split. On front board, in gilt lettering "R. S. " 12mo. Unrecorded.

This remarkably rare Venetian edition was produced for distribution throughout the Spanish-Portuguese Diaspora. See C.
