First complete English language edition of the Moreh Nevuchim. Prussian-born Michael Friedländer (1833-1910) served as Principal of Jews' College, London, from 1865 until his death 45 years later. Besides his contribution to Maimonidean scholarship, Friedländer also published works of Abraham Ibn Ezra. Friedländer was the father-in-law of Moses Gaster.
