Two sermons preached in the Norfolk Street Synagogue, New York. German-born Dr. Moses Mielziner (1828-1903) served as a rabbi in Copenhagen, Denmark, before taking up the call to serve as Rabbi of New York's Congregation Anshei Chesed in 1865. In 1879 he was offered the position of Professor of Talmud and Rabbinical Literature at Hebrew Union College, Cincinnati and from 1900 until his death, he served as President of that institution.
