R. Benzion Cuenque (1866-1936), Av-Beth Din of the Sephardic community of Jerusalem, was the editor of the important rabbinic journal "Ha-Me'assef," which published contributions from Aschkenazic and Sephardic rabbis from across the globe. Ha-Me'assef appeared in Jerusalem from 1896-1914, publication ceased with the outbreak of World War One. Cuenque authored a volume of halachic responsa, Tzedakah u-Mishpat (Jerusalem, 1926).
