The Epistle of Rabbi Samuel is a widely-disseminated fabrication designed to convert Jews to Christianity. Supposedly composed in Arabic by a Moroccan Jew ("Samuel Marochitanus") at the beginning of the 11th-century, the book went through several editions and translations.
