Unpublished Work of Jewish Thought. In explicating the various Agadoth of the Talmud, the Author tackles perennial philosophic problems such as Free Will versus Predestination (see e.g. ff. 25-26), Creation, Miracles, etc. On f.50r. there is the briefest kabbalistic discussion of sephiroth (two sephiroth of "zechuth" and "mazal"), but this is uncharacteristic of the work as a whole, which is purely philosophic in tenor. What is most remarkable is the lack of references to medieval sources such as Maimonides, et al
