RARE. To have all first editions bound together in three one volume is especially scarce. The author was the founder and most outstanding personality of the Zidachov Chassidic dynasty. Known as the "Sar Beth HaZohar,” his primary teacher was “the Seer” Jacob Isaac - the Chozeh of Lublin. R. Tzvi Hrsch's unique aproach to Chassidism focused upon strengthening the Kabbalistic-philosophical underpinnings of the Movement. He saw Chassidism as a channel by which the ideals of the later Kabbalists could be put into practice. See Tz.M. Rabinowicz, The Encyclopedia of Hasidism (1996) pp.107-8; and on his life and work in general, see M. Braver, Tzvi LaTzadik (1931)
