Manuscript vellum leaf. Written in a beautiful, precise Ashkenazic scribal hand in square and Rashi script. Initial three letters historiated in floral setting. A certificate bestowing Tzvi Hirsch son of Yisrael Segal, Chief Justice of the Beth Din of the town of Brody, with the coveted honorific. Signed by three Dayanim of the town Previous owner’s stamp
