Magnificent volume. The present copy with two substantial original embellishments by Chagall. On half-title, signed in red "Chagall," with sketch of hand holding bouquet of flowers. On title, inscribed in black ink in Yiddish: "Yerushalayim, 1965. Far A. Dobkin, mit hartzige gerussen, Mark Shagal, Jerusalem, 1965." Also, in red and blue pen, several artistic additions to designs on title.
