Signed Copy of Poetry by Celebrated Israeli author of the Nationalist Camp Galician-born Uri Zvi Greenberg (1894-1981) was named after his illustrious maternal ancestor, R. Uri of Strelisk, a renowned Chassidic rebbe, oftimes referred to as the “Seraph of Strelisk.” In Eretz Israel, Greenberg became associated with Jabotinsky’s Revisionist Zionist movement, his poetry expressing the ideal of a great Jewish Nation residing between the Nile and the Euphrates Rivers.
