One appreciates that in Italy, where the influence of the Church was especially pervasive, Jewish educators felt the need to compete with a “catechism” of their own. In a postscript, the author informs the reader that he proposes to publish a sequel volume, Lekach Tov - Shevilei Emunah for intermediate and advanced level students.
