EXCEPTIONALLY FINE BEZALEL BRASS FRAME Ze’ev Raban / Boris Schatz. Jerusalem, ca. 1920

Along with Boris Schatz, Ze’ev Raban was the Bezalel School’s most noted designer. His work “evokes romanticism, sense of Biblical history and surge of Jewish national consciousness.” Yeshiva Univeristy Museum Catalogue, Raban Remembered (1982) p. 14.
