The author proposes the establishment of Orthodox agricultural colonies in the Land of Israel as a counter-weight to secular Zionism. Unfettered by affiliation with any political parties, implementation of this plan will be a “sanctification of God’s name.” Welcz claims support for his ideas from both R. Yekuthiel Yehudah Teitelbaum of Sighet and the Grand Rabbi of Munkatcz. Welcz also criticizes here Agudath Israel for allowing the Zionist movement to flourish “to the detriment of the youth.”
