The unacknowledged translation was prepared by David Levi. Interestingly, American editions of Levi’s Hagadah differ slightly from his original translation first published in London (see lot **). Furthermore, with the exception of the Levi Hagadah published by Jackson in 1837 and 1850, none of the other American editions acknowledge David Levi as translator
