The irascible iconoclast Ephraim Deinard argues that the sages of the Talmud knew and wrote nothing concerning Jesus, the supposed founder of Christianity. According to Deinard, even the target of his merciless barbs, Prof. Joseph Klausner would be willing to concede that is the case (p. 193). (On p. 112, Deinard writes that “Dr. Klausner” has the same gematria or numerical value as Yeshu ha-Notzri!)
