R. Moses Zacuto (1620-1697) was the preeminent Italian kabbalist of his day who strictly adhered to Lurianic teaching. Zacuto arranged tikunim (literally, “corrections”), i.e. special prayers for several religious ceremonies according to Kabbalah which profoundly influenced religious life in Italy.
