Baruch Yitzchak Lipschuetz was the author of many scholarly works , the most celebrated of which are his lengthy notes and emendations to his father’s Tiphereth Yisrael. These notes are usually prefixed by the intials AB”Y (= Amar Baruch Yitzchak). He served as Rabbi of Landsberg and Mecklenburg, later moving to Hamburg and Berlin.
