Machzorim were issued to accommodate variations in far-flung custom and rites. Although Steinschneider Cat. Bodl. no. 2532, lists a similar Machzor to the present one, he describes it as being of Polish rite only (“rit. Pol.”) When the title-page states other communities as well, Steinschneider usually describes it as ”rit. Pol. cum Comm.” Thus, this particular edition - listing several communities on the title is apparantly unrecorded
