Marriage Contract on paper

Text in black ink, Sephardic square and cursive Hebrew scripts. Text set in architectural background comprising two arches over two columns of text: the Kethubah to the right and the Tenaim to the left. The double arch, framed in orange and gold occupies the lower portion of the page. The verse from Proverbs: “He who finds a wife has found happiness and has won the favor of the Lord” appears inscribed in large square letters in a rectangular frame that separates the two halves of the page. Upper portion and either side of the double arch, is laden with floral and geometric motifs in vivid hues of yellow, orange and brown. Upper portion is decorated with a large medallion containing eight smaller medallions each with a floral motif surrounding a central medallion with gold design. Upper margin with curved cutout design Light stains in places. 525x735mm
