An interesting analysis of a divorce-case and the importance of recordng the precise names of the parties involved. Following the grant of Get, the husband discovered his father had a second name. Witnesses stated when he was called to the Torah in the Great Synagogue he was called by one name, but when he prayed at certain other locations, he was called by two names. The husband refused to give another Get - the Beth Din contended the deed was valid. Rabbi Weingott was a scholar whose novellae were included in the Vilna Shas. On the Rabbinical Weingott Family, see Y. D. Bet Halevi, Toldot Yehudei Kalisch (1961) p.210, 223.
