Detailed plan of the Mantua synagogue including a depiction of the intricate Ark showing the elaborate floriated and arched embellishments. All accomplished in black and brown ink with lavender and beige watercolor wash, on paper Lightly stained, worn at edges. Contemporary linen backing. 32.5 x 23.5 inches

Seats bear the names of prominent Mantua families including; Fermo, Culorini, Corinaldi, Finzi, Provenzal and Cases. The Eastern wall, near the Ark shows four seats reserved for Rabbis. See S.
