Ostensibly written as a commentary to the Book of Genesis, the author includes detailed accounts of his dreams and their interpretations, as well as visitations and exorcisms of Dybbukim that were brought before him. Of particular interest, is a dream in which Nathan of Gaza appears to Fatarya as a raven requesting a tikun (corrective remedy) for his activities on behalf of Shabbatai Tzvi. In another, Fatarya conducts a dialogue with the false messiah himself and arranges a tikkun for his soul
