Letter I: From RABBI SHIMON SHKOP, Dean of Yeshiva Shaarei Torah to Rabbi Kook. A recommendation for a student to R. Kook's Yeshiva. Grodno, Kislev, 1925. Letter II: From RABBI BORUCH BER LEIBOWITZ, Dean of Yeshiva Knesset Beth Yitzchok. A letter of recommendation for eight students to be accepted to ther Yeshiva forced to leave Vilna because of “a life threatening situation.” Vilna, 22nd of Sivan 1924. Letter III: From Rabbi MOSHE SOKOLOWSY, Dean of Yeshiva Torat Chesed of Brisk and author of the "Imrei Moshe." A request for a certificate to be allowed to settle in Israel. "For a number of years my soul has yearned to settle in Israel...I will not be a burden on your honor, as I will, with the help of God, find a source of livelihood..." He also inquires as to the status of the requests for seven students of his Yeshiva for whom "I and the Rabbi of Brisk have written letters of recommendation...they need to leave as soon as possible."
